In the DVC design, the adjustment controls can be tuned separately for individual forward and return speeds. This adjustment can be carried out when mounted and even during the working stroke. Turning the adjustment knob to the right reduces the speed, to the left increases the speed. Once the adjustment is set, it can be locked by securing a fixing screw. The standard version has two adjustment controls for individually damping the forward and return strokes. Alternatively you can obtain a DVC with only one adjuster for damping in either the forward or return direction, the uncontrolled portion of stroke being free.
The hydraulic damping cylinders of the
HB series are adjusted prior to assembly by turning the piston rod in its end position. The adjustment setting and the corresponding speed remain constant throughout the operation. These damping cylinders are available in four styles: damping, in both directions, in tension, in compression or damping through a fixed non adjustable orifice.
