These products allow you a precise control of speed in both
directions of travel. As a safety device they prevent sudden movement.
When used as a compensating feature on an application they smoothly dampen
swinging loads. And when used with a "drive actuator" they always ensure a
uniform traverse speed. Hydraulic dampers are a maintenance free, self-contained,
closed system unit. The damping cylinders of the DVC-family are equipped with
individual adjustment controls for both the tension and compression portions
of the stroke. Each can be controlled separately throughout the stroke and
allow for precise adjustments on the majority of applications. These are the
first hydraulic damping cylinders for which the speed in both directions can
be externally controlled. The HB-products are adjusted at the end of stroke.
These models provide damping effects either in one direction, with free return,
or both directions. They are available in different body diameters and with
stroke lengths of up to 800 mm.
