Self-compensating shock absorbers adjust automatically
– in a predefined range – to different masses, forces and velocities. The hardness grading ranges from
-0 (very soft) to -4 (very hard).
The metering orifices of the
adjustable shock absorbers are adjusted by the opening and closing of the metering orifices of an adjusting chamber or by turning the pressure chamber towards the metering gap
when using miniature shock absorbers.
