The new ACE vibration sensors were especially designed for process monitoring in the field of handling and automation technology. Malfunctions are detected early and repair and downtimes can thus be avoided. The sensors are form fit connected to the device ( linear slide, rotary actuator, or gripper) and detect vibrations and forces that permanently  come up during the work process. If those forces increase by more than the preadjusted nominal values, the sensor gives a signal and the production process can be interrupted with the condition monitoring system. The new ACE sensors are available in PNP, NPN and analogue versions.

The new ACE safety shock absorber series LP are self-contained, maintenance free and ready for installation. The hydraulic buffers can be used for elevator cars and counterweights. The LP series are certified according to the EG directive 95/16/EG. The lift buffers are equipped with mechanical safety limit switches according to DIN EN 50047. The switching signals can be integrated into the elevator control, while the rubber plate reduces impact noises. The lift buffers’ compact dimensions permit the mounting in nearly all elevators. They are also directly interchangeable with other makes of hydraulic lift buffers. The LP buffer series are categorized by two nominal speed ranges. LP40 models are approved for nominal speeds from 1 to 2 m/s and LP50 models are approved for nominal speeds from 2.5 to 3.2 m/s. The new TR-H design completes the TUBUS series between the progressive TR and the almost linear TS models. A wide range of individual characteristics can be guaranteed for the entire ACE TUBUS series. The TR-H series was especially designed for maximum damping stroke in combination with minimum component height. Energy capacities between 2.5 and 230 Nm per stroke are available combined with outer diameters of 30 to 102 mm.

ACE extends the range of clamping and safety elements of the aptly named LOCKED family. The clamping elements of the LOCKED R series were developed for static clamping on shafts and axis. The pneumatic clamping elements are available in standard sizes for shaft diameters from 50 up to 340 mm. A pressure fall causes an immediate safety clamping force through the diaphragm spring steel system. Models are offered for operating pressures of 4 to 6 bar and give maximum holding torques up to 4680 Nm.
 

Smaller dimensions, greater capacity: for the first time, ACE now offers a small shock absorber with a thread of M5x0.5. The powerful mini MC5M, with a weight of only 3 g and a total length of 34 mm including impact head, absorbs a full 0.68 Nm energy per stroke. The hourly energy absorption rate is 2040 Nm. The new shock absorber comes in three hardness levels and covers an effective mass range from 0.5 to 18.5 kg. This variety in handling differing weights is joined by a reset time of only 0.2 s together with spring force of 1.12 N. These values result in new possibilities e.g. for producing even smaller, faster handling equipment.
